Latex Chair | Furniture
I'm a designer developing a furniture line with a particular vision. I'm driven by the desire to experience and create magical moments. Slow living. Observing the mundane as a fun activity. Being curious as a child in adulthood is what magic is all about. Over the past few years, I've poured my heart into conceptualizing, sketching, and modelling furniture designs, from an art perspective, that started with whimsical chairs then chairs with lamps, then lamps with a water clock. All this work has been primarily digital, 3D models that visualize the idea in high detail, accompanied by written descriptions and production dimensions.
For the first design fabrication, the Latex Chair, I've partnered with a skilled craftsman in Peru who turns my 3D models into real tangible objects. The chair is hand-sculpted from wood, painted in black, and covered with a glossy finish. Since I'm only at the beginning of my journey, I am not interested in making a profit. I want to subsidize these initial purchases as an investment in the project, but it's only possible if you help with the rest. My goal right now is to get the ball rolling. Who knows? It could become an appreciating investment over time, as they will likely be priced higher in the future. By supporting this project, you'd be investing directly in an independent designer's work and helping bring ideas into existence.
